November 7, 2009 - 2nd Alarm - 645 Warden Ave.
November 7, 2009 - 4:19am - East Command - "B" Shift
Flames were licking 20' up the front of a middle unit in this 3-storey frame townhouse complex, when East Command companies pulled up. A ladder pipe and big lines were deployed, and the onslaught held the intense fire primarily to the basement area where it originated. There was some extension to the lower floors and units on either side: nine streams were used in all. The houses were framed and paneled, but no firestops had been installed. The cause is under investigation, and damage is $100,000.
