October 16, 2009 - 12:06am - North Command - "D" Shift
Station 113 crews could see the loom-up from this pair of 2-storey brick semi-detached houses as they approached. On arrival, flames had vented through the roof so A113 used their ladder pipe to knock down most of the heavy fire. Interior crews held the blaze to the roof space and the top floor using 5 lines. Roofers had been at work on the premises earlier in the day, and damage was $200,000.
