January 25, 2010 - 9:25am - North Command - "C" Shift
Rescue 115 pulled a 2nd alarm on arrival after finding heavy fire coming from a 3rd floor apartment at the rear of this Don Mills hi-rise. R115 hooked up to the standpipe, and stretched a couple of lines to attack the fire. There were initial concerns that a couple of children may have been in the apartment, but it was determined that a 20 year old male had managed to escape, and his 6 year old sister was in school at the time.
