Downtown Toronto firefighters battled a working fire on the roof of Maple Leaf Gardens early Friday morning. Crews were initially called to the area to investigate smoke, but soon found a section of the historic building in flames. The fire was quickly knocked down, and the street re-opened within aprox. an hour.
