Heavy smoke was pushing from this 2-storey brick end-of-row house on arrival of Station 423 crews and flames had completely involved the front bedroom. They tackled the fire with two lines, and two more were needed as the blaze had progressed through most of the dwelling. One resident was treated in hospital for smoke inhalation. The $150,000 outbreak started on the ground floor and the cause is being investigated.
