An intense fire was blazing through a top floor apartment in this 20-storey brick high rise when Station 231 crews arrived. Heavy smoke trapped numerous people in their apartments and many had to be escorted to waiting EMS crews. Poor water pressure didn't help matters, but the fire was confined to one apartment. Damage was $100,000.
