Starting around the basement fireplace, flames gutted the basement and spread upwards through the walls to the roof space in this 2-storey brick residence, leaving heavy damage. The first and second floor rooms on the east side were gutted. The large home was full of collectibles and the loss will likely hit seven figures. A fault in the fireplace is the most likely cause.
