Scarborough companies are very familiar with this sprawling paper manufacturing complex operated by Atlantic Packaging in the heart of the former city, having attended many serious blazes there over the past decades. This call involved a large storage area and clouds of smoke were rolling from the building on arrival. A deep-seated fire was discovered and it took some time to knock down, and overhaul was also extensive. The cause of the $100,000 outbreak is believed to be accidental. © GTMAA Trumpet
