P222 arrived to heavy smoke coming from the third floor of a high-rise and immediately requested a 2nd alarm. Crews made entry to the unit and found the living room and a bedroom fully involved. After knocking down the flames, the building was full of heavy smoke, and crews directed their efforts towards ventilation. 5 tenants were transported to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. The cause of the blaze was an overheated air conditioner falling into the room.
