P146 arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the roof of a 1-storey bungalow, much to the surprise of the elderly resident who had no idea her house was on fire. A 2nd alarm was requested and two 38mm lines were stretched as crews opened up the roof to access the attic fire. The resident and several large dogs were removed without injury.
