March 17, 2011 - 2nd Alarm - 68 Titan Rd.
March 17, 2011 - 8:28pm - West Command - "B" Shift
Heavy smoke was pushing from the rear portion of this primarily single storey Battenfield Grease factory, and an interior attack was made. Interior conditions were hot with poor visibility and it took some time to knock down the fire which also extended into an upper level mezzanine. Several lines were deployed in the process and portions of the roof and ducting opened up to facilitate containment. The loss exceeds $300,000, and a malfunction gets the blame. © GTMAA Trumpet
