Alerted by a smoke detector, four youths fled this single-storey brick residence as flames tore through the basement. Touched off by combustibles near a space heater, the $100,000 blaze was extinguished using three lines. The quartet was treated in hospital for minor smoke inhalation. © GTMAA Trumpet
