Pumper 245 was first on scene to a well involved balcony on the top floor of a 14 storey high-rise. Crews were able to keep the fire confined to the balcony with no extension into the unit other than broken windows and some burnt curtains. With no smoke migration into the hallways, companies were able to clear in short order.
