Pumper 232 arrived to heavy fire coming from the carport area of a 2-storey house and immediately initiated an offensive attack. Crews knocked down the bulk of the fire, however, flames had extended into the walls and attic, requiring extensive overhaul pulling off siding and soffits. The cause is believed to be rechargeable batteries exploding in the carport. No injuries were reported.
