September 26, 2011 - 10:50pm - East Command - "B" Shift
Pumper 242 reported fire visible from the roof upon arrival at a split-level dwelling, and Car 24 requested a 2nd alarm. The fire originated on the first floor and had extended into the roof space. Crews mounted an interior attack with a line off P242, while other members opened up the roof. The fire was knocked down in short order with no injuries reported.
