High-rise fire, originated on an 8th floor balcony and extended into the unit and the 9th floor apartment above. Firefighters had to deal with heavy fire and high heat conditions. Thick smoke on several floors sent 5 people to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. Two firefighters were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
